# LIGGGHTS Dipod and Tripod Particle Simulation Data & Code

## Overview

This repository contains simulation code, raw data, and post-processing analysis for studying the dynamics of dipod (dumbbell-shaped) and tripod particles falling under gravity using LIGGGHTS 3.8.0.

## Repository Contents

The repository is organized into several compressed archives:

### Simulation Code
- **`simulations.tar.gz`**: Contains the complete LIGGGHTS simulation setup for both dipod and tripod particles.
  - Includes `justfile` for build automation, configuration files, input scripts, and template generation tools.
  - Subdirectories: `dipods/` and `tripods/`.

### Post-Processing Data
- **`dipods_postpro.tar.gz`**: Contains attractor analysis logs for dipod systems.
  - Files: `attractors_{N}p.log` for N=2 to 10 particles.
- **`tripods_postpro.tar.gz`**: Contains attractor analysis logs for tripod systems.
  - Files: `attractors_{N}p.log` for N=2 to 10 particles.

### Raw Simulation Data
- **`dipods_rawdata.tar.gz`**: Raw simulation results for dipod systems.
  - Includes initial/final configurations, kinetic energies, and simulation summaries.
- **`tripods_rawdata.tar.gz`**: Raw simulation results for tripod systems.
  - Includes initial/final configurations, kinetic energies, and simulation summaries.

## Usage

To access the contents, extract the desired archives. For example:

```bash
# Extract simulation code
tar -xzf simulations.tar.gz

# Extract post-processing data
tar -xzf dipods_postpro.tar.gz
tar -xzf tripods_postpro.tar.gz

# Extract raw data
tar -xzf dipod_rawdata.tar.gz
tar -xzf tripod_rawdata.tar.gz
```
