Brillouin spectra for reference, untreated and 24h treated flax fibers.
The beginning of the filename is always indicating the sample name. "L" or "T" is representing if the longitudinal or transverse phonon mode was measured, respectively.

The file name contains all relevant measurement information to repeat the Experiments and further details can be obtained in the materials and methods section of the main text.

Explanation of the file name:
"Flax_24h_treatment_L_90a_0deg_6036acq_6mm_0p20p6_400scan_450iph_700oph_120mW_HH.txt"

Flax_24h_treatment = sample Name
L = longitudinal phonon mode is measured
90a = scattering geometry
0deg = axial alignment
6036acq = Acquisitions (acq is about 0.5 s --> measurement time can be calculated this way)
6 mm = Mirror spacing in the Fabry-Perot Interferometer
0p20p6 = 0.2 and 0.6 neutral Density filters prior to the sample
400scan = 400 nm scan amplitude
450iph = pinhole size into the spectrometer
700oph = pinhole size from spectrometer to detector
120mW = laser power
HH = polarizer orientation
