Raw MPM data associated with the paper: 'Homocysteine injections lead to atherosclerosis progression in hypercholesterolemic rabbits despite normal plasma homocysteine'

This data set contains microstructural data on rabbit abdominal aorta which underwent balloon-injury. Multi-photon microscopy (MPM) was performed at the Biomedical Center Core Facility Bioimaging (LMU Munich) using a Leica SP8 confocal microscope.

The entire scans of the representative aortic wall sections are provided as .lif and .lifext, which can be opened using open source software, e.g., Fiji. 

The data are organised into subfolders of each sample and a ReadMe file featuring general information about the folder structure (ReadMe.txt) is provided.
