Advancing Research Data Management and Open Science in Austria - FAIR-Impact Roadshow Austria

The FAIR-IMPACT National Roadshow stopped in Austria on 18 June 2024. The event was organised by TU Graz within the framework of the project “Shared RDM Services & Infrastructure”. Around 50 participants from Austria and beyond came together to explore the latest developments in Open Science and to learn about results from EOSC-related projects, including FAIR-IMPACT.

The programme featured presentations and discussions on FAIR data practices, research data management (RDM) services, and the role of national initiatives in supporting the European Open Science Cloud. Participants exchanged experiences on implementing FAIR principles in practice and discussed challenges and opportunities for strengthening sustainable, interoperable research data infrastructures. The roadshow provided a valuable platform for networking and knowledge sharing, contributing to increased awareness and engagement with EOSC and FAIR-IMPACT activities within the Austrian research community.
